Why does my baby need DHA essential fatty acids?
A baby's brain more than doubles in size during the first year of life. DHA supports healthy brain tissues and growth. Adequate intake of DHA is essential to support proper brain and visual development and remains necessary throughout life to maintain brain, eye and nervous system health. Essential fatty acids (EFA's) are nutrients that are essential for optimal health. They cannot be produced by the body so must be obtained through the diet and/or supplementation. DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) are important omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 EFA's provide support for brain and eye health, the immune, nervous and cardiovascular systems, and balanced mood and stress management. They support joint and tissue health as well as healthy prostaglandin pathways.Ingredients

Recommended intake:

With the measured dropper, Baby's DHA can be easily added to formula or food.
