What is glutathione?

Glutathione (GSH) is a naturally occurring protein (a tripeptide amino acid) that is produced in every cell of the body. Often referred to as the body’s “master antioxidant”, glutathione has a role to play in neutralizing and detoxifying harmful substances such as highly unstable and reactive molecules (also called ‘free radicals’ or more scientifically ‘reactive oxygen species’ (ROS)) which are responsible for damaging healthy tissue in the body. This process is called ‘oxidative stress’ and is associated with ageing and degenerative health outcomes.

Do we need supplemental glutathione?

In a word, yes! Whilst the body is equipped to make our own endogenous glutathione, this ability is highest in our youth with production of this much-needed antioxidant diminishing rapidly with age due to increasing cell damage - right at the time when our need for its protection increases tremendously. This creates a need-state for glutathione that outpaces our natural production, and where supplemental glutathione can be supportive. Suggested Use

Recommended intake:

Suggested Adult Use: Apply 4 sprays of Glutaryl™ on clean, hair-free skin twice daily (such as the abdomen). After spraying the product, rub in for 90 seconds or until dry. Lotion can be applied on top if desired. Leave on for at least 45 minutes for maximum absorption or it can be left on all day.

Application tips:

• Vary the site of application
• Glutaryl smells like glutathione, with a natural sulfur odour. It is a natural scent with no artificial fragrances and dissipates quickly after application. 
  

Cautions

• Do not apply to broken skin.
• Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients.
• Rash and itch at application site may occur for sensitive individuals. If experienced stop usage until rash subsides and restart at half the dose, slowly increasing to 4 sprays, twice daily if tolerance allows.
