What makes Oregano oil special?
Oregano oil is recognised for its activity against gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria, and fungal species like Candida. This action is primarily facilitated via its volatile oils, especially carvacrol and thymol. Oregano oil is high in phenolic acids, including rosmarinic acid, contributing to its strong antioxidant properties to support immune cell and other tissue functions within the body.
The Oregano oil used in this formula is extracted via CO₂ supercritical extraction - a clean method of extraction that avoids harsh solvents like ethyl acetate, hexane, or methanol used. CO₂ supercritical extraction is the gold standard for unlocking all the beneficial oil-based compounds from plants, resulting in a broad-spectrum oil extract.
Gaia Herbs Oil of Oregano contains the active constituents Carvacrol and Thymol, supporting immune function activity, and is standardised and guaranteed to provide 32 mg per serve.
Ingredients
Oregano leaf supercritical CO₂ extract 230 mg, Carvacrol and Thymol 32 mg. Other ingredients: Sunflower lecithin and vegan capsule (hypromellose).
Does not contain: GMO, Gluten, Soy. 100% vegan.
Suggested Use
Recommended intake:
Adults: Take 1 capsule 2 times daily with meals. Suggested maximum time of use is 2-4 weeks.
