What ingredients are in ResveraCel?

Nicotinamide Riboside Hydrogen Malate (NR)

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is an important coenzyme found in every cell that plays an integral role in multiple body functions. Because the body’s natural level of NAD+ begins to decline significantly with age, it can lead to adverse effects of ageing and age-related conditions. As a direct precursor to NAD+, NR efficiently supports the production of NAD+ which in turns supports:

• multiple aspects of healthy ageing and an optimal state of health
• cellular repair processes, providing protection against DNA damage and oxidative stress
• healthy mitochondrial number and function, thus promoting energy production
• exercise efficiency, helping to support health and fitness goals
• a healthy circadian rhythm

Resveratrol

Resveratrol is a natural substance found in many foods, including red wine, and has shown promise in scientific research as helping support several age-related conditions, including the body's normal inflammatory response and thus a health-supporting effect on the body’s vasculature network.

Resveratrol activates a special class of protein enzymes called sirtuins that act as cellular switches by up-regulating many positive functions, including cellular ageing, inflammatory response, detoxification, stress resistance, fat and glucose metabolism and circadian rhythm. Sirtuin proteins support the formation of new mitochondria in the cells, which results in more efficient cellular energy production and supports healthy longevity.

Quercetin Phytosome

‘Senescence’ is the natural process in which ageing cells stop dividing, but do not die. The over-accumulation of senescent cells is associated with biological ageing and various age-related disorders. Quercetin is at the forefront of healthy ageing because it is one of only two nutrients that have been studied for its ability to reduce cellular senescence. When partnered with resveratrol, it slows the breakdown of resveratrol in the body allowing it more time to have a beneficial effect. Quercetin also up-regulates the sirtuin proteins, which are associated with healthy cellular ageing and improved weight-related metabolic function.

Betaine

To achieve NR’s optimal benefit, it is important to support the body’s methylation processes. Betaine (also called trimethylglycine) is an ideal methyl donor because it has 3 methyl groups per molecule available to donate. Methylation supports the production of healthy DNA, neurotransmitters and energy production.

In female athletes, research indicates that betaine supports lean body composition by helping to reduce body fat without negatively affecting muscle mass. Betaine supports the body’s ability to engage in higher volume exercise – increased repetitions and weight load in male athletes and improved high volume work capacity in female athletes.
