What is Valerian used for?
Valerian supports a calm mind and helps move you from restlessness to rest. It has been shown to support REM sleep, which is associated with dreaming and memory consolidation. Valerian’s mild sedative effects don’t leave any lingering drowsiness the following day. In addition to sleep support, Valerian also lends itself to daytime use to support the nervous system. Its calming action supports feelings of nervous tension and worries, mood swings, and emotional fluctuations.
Gaia Herbs Valerian contains the active constituent Valerenic acid, believed to give this herb its calming qualities and is standardised and guaranteed to provide 1.8g of Valerenic acid per serve.
Ingredients
Proprietary Extract Blend (Organic Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) root, Organic Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) root extract) 1,047 mg, Valerenic acids 1.8 mg. Other ingredients: Vegetable glycerin, water and vegan capsule (hypromellose), maltodextrin.
Does not contain: GMO, Gluten, Soy. 100% vegan.

Recommended intake:
Adults: Take 2 capsules 1 hour before bed.
