LifeSeasons® Glucose Stabili-T® is specially formulated to support balanced blood sugar levels, cellular metabolism and a healthy response to the hormone insulin. Why is blood sugar balance important?

Everything you eat and drink has an impact on blood sugar levels, but some foods have a greater impact than others. Carbohydrate-rich foods are the main culprits when it comes to elevating blood sugar levels because these foods are broken down into sugar by the body. The more refined the carbohydrate (think white flour products, high-sugar foods, white rice and the like) the quicker the impact on raising blood sugar levels. Less refined, more wholegrain carbs on the other hand (such as fibrous vegetables, and wholegrain grains or legumes), tend to have a much slower effect on elevating blood sugar levels and a more gradual decline. Normally, sugar is shuttled into cells to be used for energy later by the hormone insulin. Herbal extracts and standardised constituents explained

LifeSeasons® use a combination of extracted and non-extracted herbs in their formulations. The main advantage of using extracted herbs is that the phytochemicals are more concentrated and provide more potent health support. Herbal constituents that may be lost during the extraction process are preserved with the use of non-extracted herbs, which is why some products include both options in the formulation. A standardised herbal extract is one that has one or more phytochemicals present in a specific, guaranteed amount. Standardisation normally involves measuring the amount of at least one or two phytochemicals that have been researched and identified as having health benefits when taken at a particular dose. This dual use makes for a more potent formulation that unites the benefits of traditionally used whole-herbs with the evidence-based efficacy of particular plant constituents well-researched for their health effects.

Chromium (as chromium niacinate) 800 mcg, Fenugreek seed extract (Trigonella foenum-graecum) (Fenulife®) 500 mg, Gymnema leaf extract (Gymnema silvestre) (25% [100 mg] gymnemic acids 400 mg, Cinnamon bark (Cinnamon vernum) (Ceylon) 90 mg, Bilberry fruit extract (Vaccinum myrtillus) (36% [27 mg] anthocynaosides (MirtoSelect®) 75 mg, Butcher’s Broom root extract (Ruscus aculaetus) (10% [7.5 mg] ruscogenins) 75 mg, Gotu Kola leaf extract (Centella asiatica) (10% [7.5 mg] triterpenes) 75 mg, Alpha lipoic acid 50 mg, Banaba leaf extract (Lagerstroemia speciosa) (2% [1 mg] corosolic acid) 50 mg, Bitter Melon fruit extract (Mormordica charantia) (0.5% [0.25 mg] charantin) 50 mg, Holy Basil leaf extract (Ocimum sanctum) (2.5% [0.625 mg] ursolic and oleanolic acids) 25 mg, Trace Minerals (ConcenTrace® AC) 25 mg, Vanadium (as Vanadyl sulfate) 200 mcg. Other ingredients: Hypromellose (vegetable cellulose), silica and rice bran.

Does not contain: Artificial colours, preservatives, yeast, eggs, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, milk, gluten and magnesium stearate.

Recommended intake:

Take three capsules every morning with or without food.
