What is phosphatidylcholine (PC)?

Phosphatidylcholine (PC) is one of four important phospholipid substances that link together to form the critical cell membrane, with PC being the most abundant of the four, making up around 50% of the cell structure. This critical molecule is fundamental to maintaining cell structure and integrity and allowing the free passage of nutrients into and wastes out of cells. Each of the four phospholipids – Phosphatidylcholine (PC), Phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), Phosphatidylinositol (PI) and Phosphatidylserine (PS) – maintain cellular structure which is integral with supporting cell function, particularly the production of cellular energy within each cell.

Each BodyBio PC capsule contains concentrated levels of the 4 essential phospholipids:

• Phosphatidylcholine (PC) – a critical phospholipid for cell membrane integrity and cell functioning.
• Phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) – an important phospholipid for cellular energy and mitochondrial function.

Ingredients

Proprietary Phospholipid Complex (non GMO, derived from soy lecithin) 1300 mg per two softgel serve, providing total fat 1.6g (3% of daily value).
Other ingredients: Minor glycolipids, essential fatty acids, flaxseed oil (Linum usitatissimum) 160 mg, ethanol, gelatin, glycerine and water.

Ethanol is used to extract the phospholipids from the soy concentrate. The ethanol is then removed by vacuum distillation; however, a very small amount remains.

Does not contain: Gluten, GMO, soy proteins or allergens, pesticides including glyphosphate
