Digest Basic™ is a gentle potency, digestive enzyme blend containing essential enzymes that support digestion for all major food groups. It is intended for the whole family as an introductory digestive enzyme product. The capsules used are very small which makes it easy to take for individuals that have trouble swallowing capsules.- Gentle support for sensitive stomachs.

Digestive Enzymes

Since most of the foods we eat are either cooked or processed (destroying the enzymes contained within the food) our bodies must produce the majority of the digestive enzymes we require unless we use supplemental enzymes to aid in the digestive process. Over the course of many years, we use up so much of our enzyme potential making the digestive enzymes necessary to digest our food, that we may become deficient. Our ability to keep up with the digestive enzyme requirements begins to suffer which could lead to malabsorption, poor nutrition as well as digestive complaints. Suggested Use
Recommended intake:
For adults: Take 1 capsule with every meal for digestion support. More may be taken as needed.For those that need a higher potency formula, look for Enzymedica's Digest Gold ATPro.
For children: Under 1 year: Less than 1/4 capsule with each meal
1 to 3 years: 1/4 capsule with each meal
3 to 6 years: 1/2 capsule with each meal
6 to 12 years: 1 capsule with each meal
